All of our caregivers are insured and bonded and must successfully complete an extensive screening process prior to being placed in your home. This includes:
- Personal Interview
- Criminal Background Check
- Competency Testing (prior to hiring and annually thereafter)
- Reference Checks
- Health Screening (prior to hiring and annually thereafter)
- In addition many of our caregivers are Certified Nurse Assistants and have training and experience in specialty areas such as Alzheimer’s, dementia, arthritis, hospice care as well as mental and physical challenges. We encourage our employees to complete continuing education.
- All caregivers that provide direct care workers are protected under the state and federal unemployment compensation and workers compensation statutes.
